Enabot Technology (Shenzhen) Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “ROLA”) operates ROLA products, providing you with device usage and control services. ROLA places great importance on protecting your personal information and privacy. We will provide appropriate security protection measures for your personal information according to legal requirements and industry-standard security practices. To provide you with ROLA services and allow you to safely connect and manage smart devices, we may collect your Wi-Fi information, location information, login account information, mobile device-related information, smart device-related information, as well as the association information between your ROLA account and smart devices. This information is used to provide functions such as quick connection, discovery of nearby devices, and device management.

 

When you use this product, your account information will be authorized and verified on the ROLA platform. When you share photos and videos to third-party platforms, the photos and videos will be stored and processed on those platforms. When you use the push notification service, photos and videos will be stored and processed on the ROLA software platform. When you use the video cloud storage function, videos will be stored and processed on the ROLA software platform, and this function requires manual activation. When you use the user feedback function, the phone number, email address, and feedback content you provide will be uploaded to the ROLA platform system for storage and processing.

 

1.        How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Personal information refers to various information that can identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person, either alone or combined with other information.

Sensitive personal information refers to information including but not limited to ID numbers, biometric data, bank account information, financial information, location data, transaction information, and personal information of children under the age of 14.

We will only collect and use your personal information for the purposes stated in this statement. For more details, please refer to the “Third-Party Data Sharing Statement” and the “Personal Information Collection List.”

 

2.        Device Permission Requests

l  Location Permission: When adding devices, you need to enable this permission to obtain Wi-Fi information for device setup. Without enabling this permission, you will not be able to discover ROLA or connect it to the network for normal use.

l  Modify or Delete Content on SD Card: When using photo and video recording functions, you need to enable this permission to store recorded images and videos. If disabled, these functions will not work properly.

l  Recording: When using the real-time video function, you need to enable this permission to facilitate audio-video connection and data transmission. If disabled, the real-time video function will not work properly.

l  Find Accounts on the Device: When logging in and out of your account, you need to enable this permission to obtain the current account login status for login and logout operations. If disabled, you may not be able to use the application normally.

l  Read Phone Status and Identity: When using this application, you need to log in with your ROLA account. Enabling this permission allows for account login and verification. Without enabling it, you cannot log in and use the application properly.

You can manage these permissions through your device’s “Settings” at any time.

 

3.        Managing Your Data During your use of the ROLA application, we provide convenient settings for accessing, correcting, and deleting your personal information, and for withdrawing your consent for the use of personal information.

(1) Accessing Personal Information:

l  You can access your personal information by navigating to “My” in the application’s bottom navigation bar to view your nickname, profile picture, account information, etc.

l  You can view the devices you have bound, including device names, device settings, robot model, firmware version, MAC address, serial number, and device network information, on the “Device Card” page.

l  You can view locally stored pictures, videos, and event alerts in the “Media Files” section.

(2) Deleting Personal Information:

l  You can delete your bound devices by unbinding them through the “Device Settings” page.

l  Account Deletion: Navigate to “My” in the application’s bottom navigation bar, go to “Settings,” and select “Delete Account” to remove your account.

 

4.        Data Storage Location and Duration

(1) Data Storage Location: Personal information collected and generated under this service will be stored on our system servers.

(2) Data Storage Duration: We only retain your personal information for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

Data stored locally on your mobile device will be cleared when you uninstall the ROLA application or clear the application’s data.

Additionally, if our products or services cease operations, we will notify you via push notifications, announcements, or other means and delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time frame.

 

5.        Retention Policy

We retain personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or to comply with applicable legal requirements. After fulfilling the purpose of collection, upon your deletion or cancellation request, or upon termination of the relevant products or services, we will cease retention and delete or anonymize your personal information. Data retained for public interest, scientific, historical research, or statistical purposes may be retained according to applicable laws, even if further processing is unrelated to the original purpose of collection.
